Andrew Agapiou

Dr Andrew Agapiou is a Board Member of the Scottish Building Contract Committee (SBCC) and represents the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
Andrew is an Associate Professor in Construction Law at the University of Strathclyde and Acting Chair of the RIAS Contracts Committee. He holds LLM degrees in Construction Law and Mediation and Dispute Resolution, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (MIE Aust, CPEng) and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
An experienced charity trustee and certified practising mediator, he contributes to governance, policy development, and legal education. He also serves as a monitor for the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Andrew brings interdisciplinary expertise and informed judgment to support the work of the Scottish Building Contract Committee.
